What SevaPuja is
SevaPuja arranges for Vedic rituals to be performed on your behalf by pandits at temples across India. You are booking a seva — a service of arrangement and performance. You are not buying an outcome, and no puja on this site is sold as a guarantee of any result.
We are the intermediary between you and the temple or pandit. We select and verify them, we pay them, and we are answerable to you for whether the seva was performed as described.
Who may book
You must be 18 or older to make a booking. By booking you confirm that you are, and that the payment method belongs to you or is used with the owner's permission.
If you enter another person's name and gotra in a sankalp, you confirm you have their consent to do so.
What a booking includes
The sankalp taken in the names and gotras you supply, at the temple stated on the puja page, on the tithi stated on the puja page. A recorded video of the puja, sent to your WhatsApp number, normally within 3–5 days. Temple prasad couriered to your address, normally within 7–10 days, where you have asked for it.
Package tiers differ only in how many people are named in the sankalp. They do not buy a longer, larger or more effective ritual.
Accuracy of what you tell us
The sankalp is only as correct as the names and gotras you enter. Please check spellings before submitting; once the pandit has taken the sankalp, it cannot be repeated for a typo without booking again.
If you do not know your gotra, Kashyap is traditionally used and is offered as the default.
Dates and changes
Puja dates follow the Hindu calendar and are occasionally moved by the temple at short notice. Where that happens we will tell you and perform the puja on the revised date, or refund you in full if you would rather not wait.
We may change prices, packages or the catalogue at any time. Any change takes effect for new bookings only — never for one already paid for.
Payments
Prices are in Indian rupees and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken before the sankalp details are collected.
Amounts are always recalculated on our server from the catalogue. A price altered in your browser has no effect on what is charged.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your account
Your account is your verified WhatsApp number. Anyone able to receive one-time passwords on that number can access your bookings, so keep the device and the number secure and tell us promptly if either is compromised.
We may suspend an account used for fraud, payment reversal abuse, or attempts to access another person's bookings.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for arranging the puja described, at the temple described, on the date described, and for delivering the video and prasad. Where we fail at any of those, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
We are not responsible for spiritual, financial, medical or personal outcomes following a puja. Rituals are acts of faith and observance; nobody, including us, can promise what follows from them.
Except where Indian law does not permit it to be limited, our total liability for any booking is capped at the amount you paid for that booking.
