Manglik Dosh forms when Mangal occupies the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house of a birth chart, and is traditionally held responsible for delayed marriage and friction within it. The remedy is performed at Ujjain's Navagraha temple — where Mangal is said to have been born — with the Mangal shanti vidhi, 10,000 beej mantra jaap and daan of red cloth, masoor dal and copper. It starts at ₹1,151 and a blessed moonga is sent with the prasad.
